Hello again Hall
Since I have learned mostly all from Your DVD lessons I appreciate Your comments.
I am running steadily the dvds I have and specially nr 6-and from 21 to 26.
This certainly is a terrific composition, and once again, very reminiscent of Paul Cezanne. When painting grapes it’s always a good idea to observe them as lone large, simplified spot of color-value. In this piece each individual grape is perhaps emphasized too equally. Each of the grapes appears to have the same highlight intensity. In future paintings of grapes, try to break the massive clump down into a few sections at different depths, where some fall into total shadow without highlights.- Hall Groat
