The overall form and sense of atmosphere within this piece is terrific. The cherries, metal bowl and table are beautifully painted. When painting cherry stems, work towards making each one a bit different, in terms of value and tone.  You want to be careful not to have all of the stems stated with the same intensity, otherwise they will appear over stated.  A value transition in the background, from right to left or left to right, would allow some of the stems to merge into an area of shared value, which would solve the problem.
