Very well done! I love the reflections of light on the mug, the elephant, and the book. I like how the darkness at the bottom end of the book blends into the darkness of the cloth. I like how you got the colors of the surrounding objects (the red and bronze) reflecting onto the mug too. The cloth drapery is handled very sensitively and skillfully too. I love drapery in paintings and you certainly did an excellent job with it – the shape of the folds adds a lot of interest. The background is moody and shows a nice transition from light to dark, cool to warm. Overall I’m just really impressed with your skill as a painter.
