Once again Renee, the piece has a marvelous sense of atmosphere and movement. I like the way you are allowing the natural painterly subtleties to emerge – scumbles, scrapes, broken edges–and not attempting to smooth these natural brush marks out. Your work is showing evidence of the painterly process, which is engaging. The more you paint, the more finesse you will develop with suggesting the details and not over-stating them. The long, serpentine ends of the radishes could have been suggested more elegantly.
